Participants start with studying a problematic social or environment issue to learn more about the source of the problem.
They then learn how to find a solution for this problem by applying a digital technology, validate their solution and assess its market attractiveness
The next step is to form competitive strategies and develop minimum viable product and/or service.
In the pitching sessions, participants learn how to present their venture idea in a 3-minutes pitch.
This programme follows the idea of project- and challenge-based learning. The project the participants will be working on is their venture idea. The challenge is by the end of the programme to have a financially sustainable business idea with a digital technology as cornerstone and has a clear social and/or environmental impact.
You do not need to have a business idea before entering this course. However, it will help you to progress, if you have one. Using a sequence of twelve (12) sessions, the programme leverages the theoretical input with hands-on sessions and intensive coaching by industry experts to support the development of your venture. This module follows the logic of short work cycles in the sense of Lean start-up approach with its origin in the scientific method (http://bit.ly/Scientific_method and https://bit.ly/Scientific_Method_extended).
